  • 摘要:In this research 65 families were surveyed in Keçiören Şefkat District Socioeconomic situations and purchase and consumption of milk and products of families having different income levels were investigated. Monthly average milk and milk products consumptions families living in Keçiören Şefkat District are calculated as 7.58 kg milk and yoghurt, 1.38 kg cheese, 0.29 kg butter. In addition, Per capita consumption of milk and products as 21.74 kg milk equivalent. It was determinated that, milk and milk products consumption will increase 4.16% when income increases 10%. It was concluded that, with the increasing of income levels of families, the share of expenditure for food reduced and the share of expenditures of education and clothing increased. The most out standing criteria of consumers purchase of dairy products are freshness and price.
