摘要：There is an increasing global interest in the supplement of energy from reproducible and biodegradable sources due to the decreasing of petrol reserves and rising of environmental concern. Vegetable oils having similarity to mineral oils with respect to many physical properties are considered as the most suitable materials. The researches have focused on the use of vegetable oils in blending of diesel fuels and ink formulations. There are currently some successful applications where vegetable oils are used as pure or mixture. However, limited supply, higher prices and some different physical characteristics reduce their compatibility with mineral oils in those areas.
