摘要:This study was undertaken to investigate the components of some wild fruit species such as Crateagus oxyacantha, Berberis, vulgaris, Hippophae rhamnoides L. , Sorbus aucuparia L. and Fragaria vesca L. grown naturally in Çoruh valley. Properties (water, protein, ash, total dry matter, total soluble solids, total sugar, reducing sugar, ascorbic acid, total acidity, pH and mineral composition (P, K, Ca, Na, Mg, Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn) of these species were determined. Results of this study indicated that, the nutritional value of the wild fruit species investigated was high and it was suggested that the species should be cultured to benefit of their high values.
