标题:Investigation of the Fatty Acid Composition of Winter and Summer Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) Varieties and Lines Tested in Ankara and Şanlıurfa
摘要:In this study, safflower seeds oil content and their fatty acid compositions along with some chemical and physical characteristics of the plant flower were investigated. According to the results of this study the highest oil content in winter sowing was achieved from Oleic. (93) and N-308 (93) lines 32.24 and 35.19%, where as the best results in summer sowing were obtained from N-10 (93) and N-308 (93) lines, 33.18 and 35.43% respectively. In this research, 8 flower materials and 67 safflower seeds varieties were studied. Oil, protein, ash, cellulose and moisture content in the flower and oil fatty acid, compositions in seed samples were determined. Miristic acid, palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid and arachidic acid were identified by GC and their amounts were calculated. As a result, N-308 and N-10 lines, produced more stabile fatty acids than those of other seeds lines and oleic and linoleic acids in these lines, were in balance. It is also observed that these lines in Şanlıurfa conditions have good fatty acid compositions.
