  • 摘要:Lactococcal strains are used to manufacture butter, sour cream, buttermilk and various cheeses. Starter culture failures due to bacteriophage attacks is still the main problem in dairy industry. Because of their considerable economic importance, extensive studies have been carried out on phages of lactococci. In this revise, pathogen-host interactions and the present state of lactococcal phage taxonomy were summarized.
