  • 摘要:Propolis is a natural resinous product of honey bees, used by the bees to strengthen, isolate and disinfect their nests. Ethanolic extract of propolis was found to have antibacterial activity against a range of commonly encountered cocci and Gram-Gram+rods, including the human tuberculosis bacilli. In screening studies at different concentration of ethanolic extract of propolis completely inhibited the growth of in this study used microorganisms but not inhibit the growth of Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 Nervonic acid (24:1), palmitic acid (16:0) and stearic acid (18:0) were extracted from propolis found 15.8, 9.6 and 2.72 mg/g respectively.
