摘要:Mathematical modelling is widely used in areas where experimental studies are limited or not feasible and where a large number of experiments for workable results cannot be carried out due to practical and economic reasons. Mathematical modelling has a great potential for application in the research related on food processing and in the food industry in Türkiye. The implementation of this technique can avail substantial economic returns at the stages of design and production. In this work, a technique for mathematical modelling and model developing is described and the importance of mathematical modelling in food industry is discussed with reference to some examples for its field of application.
