  • 摘要:Importance of open-dating of food products was discussed. A research was conducted to understand the application of open-dating in Turkey and results were interpreted in terms of the methods of shelf-life testing. It was concluded that most of the shelf-lives written on food packages were being decided only by experience. Some companies, however, control the quality of their products by sensory, chemical or microbiological methods.
