  • 标题:The Consumption Rate of Milk and Dairy Products of University Youth and the Effective Factors of this Situation

  • 摘要:This research was carried out on a total number of 156 selected students from the Faculty of Agriculture of Konya Selçuk University of which 84 were male and 72 females. The results of the research revealed that milk, cheese, butter and cream are consumed mostly at breakfast by both male and female students. Yoghurt, ayran, ice-cream are consumed at most at lunch while milk deserts consumption is concentrated at lunch and dinner time. The results also revealed that milk consumption frequency is “a few times Per week”, and “rare” in summer and is only “rare” in winter. The majority of the students eat white cheese everyday. The other types of cheese are consumed rarely. Yoghurt and ayran are consumed everyday by most of the students in summer time and a few times in winter time. Ice-cream consumption is more often in summer than in winter. Cream and milk deserts are consumed rarely in both seasons. The effect of sexuality of the rate of milk and dairy products consumption during winter and summer seasons was statistically studied. It was established that no differences exist in the consumption rates of milk and dairy products, milk, flavoured milk, butter, cheese, ayran, ice-cream, etc. It was also established that yoghurt and white cheese were more frequently consumed by the female students during winter and summer.
