摘要：The paper will point to the significance and specifics of teaching a language for specific purposes and to the complex role of teacher involved in that process at the tertiary level. Based on the conducted survey, the opinions provided by students and teachers who study/teach sailing will be determined and analyzed in the matter of the importance and need for foreign language skills. Results will provide guidelines for the preparation of multilingual sailing dictionary compliant with the needs of a target group.
