摘要：With more emphasis on reuse of software applications, the commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) based software systems have emerged. As a result, reliability analysis of COTS-based software system has gained prominence. The focus of this paper is to provide an overview for the state of the art of COTS-based software system reliability analysis. In this paper, we first describe the definition of COTS and reliability. Then, we discuss approach and structure of COTS-based software system reliability.
