The revelations of Edward Snowden highlighted the dimensions of the «collection» of data by the United States’ National Security Agency. This mass spying is associated with a «global administration» which aims to respond to crises by strengthening at the same time the current «dispossession» capitalism and facing resistance. Although the perspectives are not very encouraging, the author sustains that there is still a certain time to avoid global geo-engineering projects as a response to climate change and the energy crisis, but this requires an efficient clarification about the consequences and an adequate political resistance.
