摘要:The proliferation of devices enabled with texting and messaging capabilities has exponentially increased the rate of decay in terms of social etiquette in the United States. Texting has overtaken e-mails in terms of popularity and thus set a new standard in terms of written etiquette. Anonymity in the public sphere is increasingly dealt with through the use of fake intimacy in the service sector. While the United States is known for its low power distance as well as by the easy going nature of its citizens, recent developments in the complete omission of titles makes social interaction difficult and at times may actually increase conflict and thus social instability.
