摘要:This investigation was carried out to examine the influence foliar applied of Mepiquat Chloride in mitigating the effects of water stress in Mentha Longefollia . The data showed that the herb growth , yield and essential oil percentage and yield as well as its chemical constituents were influenced by different levels of irrigation intervals (every 3 and 6 days). The resul ts reveal that Mepiquat Chloride doses ( 0, 500, 1000 and 1500 ppm) reduced the effect of water stress on different yield characters and essential oil. The main components of essential oil are carvon, menthone and 1, 8 cineol.
