摘要：This paper aims to investigate relationship between energy consumption and economic growth in OECD countries during the period of 1980–2010. The panel data analysis are used in order to analyse the causal relationship between energy consumption and economic growth. It is crucial to see the directions of causality between two variables for the policy makers. The research outcomes reveal that there is significant correlation between energy consumption and economic growth for OECD countries.
