摘要：The paper analyses the effects of greening measures on farm income in Italy focusing on two specialised farming systems that will be largely affected by the introduction of green payments: the maize production system, localized mainly in Northern regions, and the durum wheat production system, especially localised in Central and Southern regions. Data show that in the case of the farms specialised in maize production, the green payments generally do not compensate the reduction of the farm gross margin, while for the farms specialised in durum wheat, the green payments would cover the reduction of farm gross margin determined by the introduction of the greening obligations.
