摘要:In this paper, I try to understand the polysemic art of displacement which is used in La Marraine du sel : travellings (moving off centre), movements in the past (repressions and returns), role playing between characters (subjects), psycho-analytic displacement. All those ways of art, which make the very sense of humour of the novel, allow me to read it as a modern interpretation of the "diabolic" (a kind of a "tragical story"). It is the way Fourré answers to the surrealistic command of catching the latent content of a time. But this art is probably the only way for the novel's subject to understand his own story.
