摘要：Post traumatic rupture diaphragm is a very rare phenomenon. Its incidence is about 0.8% to 5.8% as mentioned in various series of blunt trauma. It is always challenging to diagnose such cases due to its rarity and this delay in diagnosis results in increased morbidity and sometimes results in fatal outcome. A high index of suspicion is required to diagnose such cases.
