摘要：Objective: In this study, the validity and reliability of Approval Dependence Assessment tool. Approval Dependence Assessment was investigated. This assessment tool is developed for the recognition, rating and following-up of approval dependence which is related with some psychopathologic patterns. Methods: The items of the assessment tool are determined according to related scales and literature especially about schemas. In this reliability and validiy research, approval dependence assessment tool is applied with Beck Depression Scale for measuring scale linked validity. These scales were administered to approximately the entire sample one month later for retest. Findings: Using the Cronbach a method internal consistency was found to be high (0.75). For the total scale 30 score test retest correlation was high (r=0.88). The validity score related to Beck Depression Scale is 0.65. Itemtotal score correlations were between 0.39-0.87. In the result of the factor analysis there have been three dimensions existing. Results: According to results, the Approval Dependence Scale seems reliable to measure approval dependence. The limitations about sample properties, the scale properties which is chosen for measuring reliability linked to it and some items in approval dependence scale which have non reliable scores are reducing the reliability of the research.
