摘要:The aim of this study is retrospective evaluation of patients who had treatment and fol- low-up for non-obstetric acute abdomen in our clinic. This study was carried out between January 2006 - September 2010 at Selcuk University Meram Faculty of Medicine, nine patients who were diagnosed and treated in the Department of Gynecology-General Surgery, were evaluated ret- rospectively regarding their presenting com- plaints, the physical examination findings and treatment. In physical examination there were abdominal tenderness, rigidity and rebound pain, all the patients were treated surgically. The mean age of the evaluated patients was 28.22±7.345 (19- 37), and the average gestational week was 26.14±8.46 (14.0-34.3). 3 of the cases were nulli- parous and 5 of them were multiparous. In the evaluation of the causes of the acute abdomen, 6 of the patients had acute appendicitis, 1 of them had acute gastric perforation, 1 patient had intestinal obstruction and 1 patient had strangulated hernia. In the evaluation of the presenting symptoms of the patients, all of them complained from abdominal pain in their history and in the physical examina- tion they had rigidity, rebound pain and tender- ness. Abdominopelvic ultrasonography was used in the diagnosis. All of the patients were treated sur- gically. There was no maternal mortality and mor- bidity in the postoperative period. Conclusion: Considering the physiological and anatomical changes that may occur in pregnancy, the diagnosis of acute abdominal should be cautious and if needed, surgical intervention should be made as early as possible.
