摘要：Pulmonary Embolism is a lifethreatening disease which refers to an obstruction of the pulmonary artery or one of its branches. The classic presentation of this disease (pleuritic chest pain, dyspnea and haemoptysis) is not often displayed which may make the diagnosis difficult. Most of the times symptoms are variable and non-specific. We present the case of an 83-year-old male who was diagnosed with Pulmonary Embolism after his admission to the Emergency Department due to syncope.
