摘要:This study aimed to analyze the convergence of prices in the Brazilian market for corn, using the methodology of time series analysis of Phillips and Sul (2007). The results showed that corn prices are not converging to one common level. However, the analysis suggested the formation of two convergence clubs, with two units cross diverging altogether. The first, formed by markets Mogiana/SP, Cascavel/PR, Chapecó/ SC, Carazinho/SP, Rondonópolis/MT and São Paulo/SP. The second group is formed by the markets of Campo Grande/MS, Uberlândia/MG, Maringá/PR, Ponta Grossa/ PR and Rio Verde/GO. The markets that were presented divergent: Campinas/SP and Porto Alegre/RS.
