摘要：Efficiency in beef production and economics is impacted by cow maintenance requirements and output. Budget and linear programming analysis are used to evaluate cost and returns for two cow sizes on two different pasture systems. Moderate-sized cows on native pasture generate the greatest pre-tax returns to management and overhead.
