  • 摘要:Author Karine Laaidi GDR Climat et Santé, Faculté de médecine, 7, boulevard Jeanne-d’Arc, 21033 Dijon cedex, France. Page(s) : 207-15 Published in: 1997 Pistacia lenticus L., Myrtus communis L. and Ceratonia siliqua L., three species typical of a Mediterranean family, the Oleolenticetum, grow in the lower Provence region in inclosed distribution areas. Complementary statistical methods such as principal component analysis and bioclimatic indicators defining the aridity and stress due to drought and cold endured by the plants were used to interpret this distribution in relation to basic meterorological parameters. When necessary, water balance studies were carried out to evaluate the respective roles of edaphic and climatic drought. This research showed that the enclosure of the three distribution areas corresponded to climatic requirements which become increasingly severe from the largest area (Pistacia Lentiscus) to the smallest (Ceratonia siliqua), Myrtus communis being between the two nonetheless closer to Pistacia Lentiscus. These requirements concern mainly minimum temperatures and the water available either from precipitation or available soil resources. Pistacia Lentiscus and Myrtus communis were thus shown to be more resistant to cold and drought, which has probably made it possible for them to spread inland, whereas Ceratonia siliqua is restricted to the coastal zone.
