This approach revealed the presence of xeric species such as A sphodelus microcarpus Sal. et Viv., Calycotome spinosa Link. and Chamaerops humilis L., reflecting the installation of the anthropized area vegetation. From 10 stations sampled in the area, 41 species originating from 23 botanical families and 5 biological types were listed. The statistical processing of biological and edaphic data by correspondence analysis (CA) and hierarchical cluster analysis (CHA) brought to light the principal factors governing the distribution of the forest formations in the area. It highlighted two groups of stations which differ through their level of degradation: group A, composed of two subgroups (A1 and A2) having the least degraded stations (S2, S6, S7, S9 and S10) correlated with phanerophytes the recovery rate of which is important and group B, consisting of three subgroups (B1, B2 and B3) characterizing the highly degraded sites (S1, S3, S4, S5 and S8) and correlated with therophytes and chamaephytes.
