摘要：Desde su aparición en Latinoamérica, a mediados de los 90, los observatorios han ido ganando -lenta pero progresivamente- una mayor presencia en el panorama mediático del continente. Hoy, se trata de realidades ciertamente versátiles que, no obstante, todavía ensayan "su propia figura" y cuyos trazos no están aún totalmente perfilados. Así, por ejemplo, los observatorios latinoamericanos se diferencian entre sí en función de variables como su origen, composición, orientación ideológica, sus estructuras y modos de funcionamiento, los aspectos de los medios que analizan, el diferente instrumental metodológico que emplean y la sistematización de su actividad.
其他摘要：From their appearance in Latin America, in the middle of the 90, the observatories have been gaining - slow but progressively a greater presence in the mediate panorama of the continent. Today, one is versatile realities certainly that, however, still they try "his own figure" and whose outlines are not still totally well formed. Thus, for example, the Latin American observatories are different to each other based on variables like their origin, composition, ideological direction, their structures and ways of operation, the aspects of the means that they analyze, different methodological instruments that they use and the systematization of its activity.
