摘要:A seismic survey profile of the subsoil was performed to investigate the properties of the elastic constants on the propagation of wave (Vp, Vs) velocity in the geological area of Salazar of the State of Mexico. Respectively, the compressional and shear velocities were 200 m/s and 107 m/s for the first lime-sand interface, which was of 3.46 m in thickness. The second interface, which was of 17.07 m in thickness in its lime-sand tuff deposit, had compressional and shear velocities of 57 m/s and 137 m/s, respectively. The results indicate that for the first layer, which was a consolidated sediment, Passion?s Coefficient was 0.32. For the second layer, Poisson?s Coefficient was 0.46. The results for the second layer suggest that it is a low consolidate sediment associated with the presence of fluid saturation.
