摘要：Este trabajo presenta antecedentes relacionados con la Teoría crítica de la Escuela de Frankfurt con la intención de posibilitar una toma de postura frente al quehacer más específico de las ciencias sociales; esto es, la investigación de los procesos vinculados con la cultura y la sociedad. Tal postura recoge las aportaciones de Max Horkheimer y Theodor Adorno, considerados aquí como principales autores de toda una generación del Institut for Socialforschung. Se asume la imposibilidad de prescindir de un enfoque filosófico en la investigación social, aunque éste no se sume corrientemente de manera explícita.
其他摘要：This article presents some background information related to the Critical Theory of the Frankfurt School. The aim is to enable the taking of position into more specific tasks of social science. Investigation of the processes related to Culture and Society needs of such matters. This stance reflects the contributions of Max Horkheimer and Theodor Adorno, considered here as the main authors of a generation of the Institut für Socialforschung. We take for granted that it is impossible to do social research without a specific philosophical approach, even if the researchers are not aware of that.
