摘要：Este artículo pretende describir las variables que han incidido en la construcción de las movilizaciones políticas indígenas en América Latina, en las dos últimas décadas, a partir del estudio de caso del movimiento indígena tawahka, grupo humano que habita en la espesa selva centroamericana de la Mosquitia, ubicada entre Honduras, Nicaragua y el mar Caribe.
