摘要：El ocaso de los partidos políticos en América Latina ha desanudado los comportamientos y prácticas políticas que algunas veces ponen el riesgo la estabilidad de la frágil democracia instaurada en los años noventa, por lo que se requiere nuevas formas organizacionales que modifiquen las estructuras, la participación y el discurso de los partidos a fin de que recuperen el estatus de representación política y de mediación entre el Estado y la sociedad. Los partidos políticos modulares son una opción inteligente y funcional para reconstruir un domo convergente que de cabida a diversos sectores sociales que no se sienten representados.
