摘要：El padrón electoral mexicano es un instrumento integrado por más de 84 millones de registros recopilados en aproximadamente 21 años de constante innovación tanto en el acopio de datos como en los instrumentos tecnológicos empleados para su permanente construcción, mantenimiento y actualización. El documento presenta dos objetivos centrales: el primero consiste en analizar la estructura demográfica del instrumento electoral, así como resaltar las innovaciones tecnológicas más importantes que el Instituto Federal Electoral (ife) ha aplicado a la Credencial para Votar con fotografía y la Lista nominal de electores. El segundo objetivo consiste en analizar la legislación en lo relativo a la protección de los datos personales y la manera en que el ife ha implementado tecnologías para el resguardo de los mismos.
其他摘要：The mexican electoral register is an instrument consisting of more than 84 million collected records in about 21 years of constant innovation, included in the collection of data, the technological instruments used for its construction, and its permanent maintenance and updates. The document presents two main objectives, the first consists in analyzing the demographic structure of the electoral instrument and describing the technological innovations that the Instituto Federal Electoral has applies in order to consolidate the electoral roll, the credential with its photo, and the nominal list for voters. The second one is to analyze the legislation relative to the protection of personal data and the way the EFI has implemented the respective technology to protect them.
