摘要：A partir do fi nal do século XX ocorre em nível internacional e no Brasil a ampliação do significado do patrimônio cultural, incluindo também as manifestações culturais imateriais, como as festas religiosas ou profanas, tradições orais, música e culinária. A valorização do patrimônio cultural imaterial de uma localidade pode contribuir para o fortalecimento de sua identidade, e aliada à atividade turística, pode promover a conservação das festas e a melhoria das condições de vida da população. Neste artigo reflete-se a relação entre patrimônio, turismo e o município de Jequitibá-MG, sobre como as referências culturais ligadas à tradição podem se constituir em recursos turísticos, contribuindo desse modo para o desenvolvimento local. Como resultado conclui-se que o patrimônio cultural imaterial pode ser utilizado como recurso turístico e também reforçar a identidade local, que é possível a partir de ações nas quais exista o equilíbrio entre os interesses da comunidade e os do mercado.
其他摘要：Since the end of XX century starts, in an international level and consequently in Brazil, the amplification of the cultural patrimony meaning. It began to include immaterial cultural manifestations, such as religious and profanes parties, oral traditions, music and culinary. The valorization of the incorporeal cultural patrimony from a given place, may contribute to the construction and reinforcement of its identity, which added to the tourism activity, may promote the preservation of the parties and the improvement of life conditions in that population. We tried to investigate in this work the relation among patrimony, tourism and Jequitibá-MG city, analyzing how the cultural references linked to the traditions may constitute a resource for tourism, contributing for the local development. As a result we concluded that the incorporeal cultural patrimony can be used as a resource for tourism and also can reinforce the local identity. This will be possible with actions which equilibrate the community and the market interests.
