摘要：O presente trabalho traz uma análise do turismo na Pousada Baguari, município de Barão de Melgaço, Pantanal Mato-Grossense. A pesquisa foi feita tendo em vista os preceitos do ecoturismo e da sustentabilidade turística, que também são utilizados pelo mercado para classificar atividades de turismo em meio à natureza. Buscou-se identificar até que ponto, e de que forma, o turismo na área pesquisada se enquadra dentro da perspectiva de ecoturismo e de turismo sustentável, tendo por base indícios de sustentabilidade turística ambiental, social, cultural e econômica. Para tanto, além de pesquisas bibliográficas, foram feitos levantamentos de campo, de forma a verificar a existência dos indícios apontados e quais as ações necessárias para que possam ser implantados. Conclui-se que a Pousada Baguari pode vir a se posicionar de forma estratégica no mercado de ecoturismo, caso implante as ações sugeridas, além de aproximar a atividade ali produzida dos preceitos de ecoturismo e de turismo sustentável.
其他摘要：The paper presents an analysis of the tourism available for people staying at the "Pousada Baguari", in the municipality of Barão de Melgaço in the Pantanal region of Mato Grosso. The study was based of the concepts of ecotourism and sustainable tourism, concepts utilized by the market to classify touristic activities taking place outdoors. An attempt was made to identify whether tourism in the region studied can be classified as ecotourism or sustainable tourism on the basis of the indicators of sustainable tourism in relation to aspects involving the environment, society, culture and economy. In addition to a review of the literature, field surveys were made to verify these indicators and the action necessary to implant such tourism. It was concluded that the Pousada Baguari could likely find a niche in the ecotourism market if it would follow the suggestions made, as well as modifying the activities offered to correspond to those generally recommended for ecotourism and sustainable tourism.
