摘要：O inventário quantitativo da oferta turística não fornece subsídios suficientes para a classificação e hierarquização dos recursos naturais para fins turísticos. Partindo dessa premissa, o presente trabalho apresenta um método desenvolvido e testado para a avaliação do potencial espeleoturístico do Parque Nacional da Serra da Bodoquena. Para seu desenvolvimento, foram estabelecidos indicadores relacionados às características de três segmentos espeleoturísticos: contemplativo, espeleovertical e espeleomergulho. Também foram desenvolvidos indicadores de fragilidade do patrimônio espeleológico. Com base nos testes realizados no Parque e em cavidades naturais turísticas da região, conclui-se que o presente método atende as necessidades de planejamento turístico com base mercadológica, bem como fornece subsídios para a implantação racional e ecologicamente sustentável do espeleoturismo.
其他摘要：The quantitative inventory of the natural resources available is not sufficient for the classification and ranking of these resources for the purposes of tourism. The present paper thus presents a new method for the evaluation of the speleotouristic potential of a region, developed and tested in the Serra da Bodoquena National Park. Indicators related to the needs and interests of three types of speleotourists are considered: those interested in observation, those preferring the challenge of abseiling, and those interested in cave diving. Other indicators linked to the inherent fragility of the speleological heritage are also considered. Based on tests conducted in the park and in other natural cavities exploited for tourism in the region, it was concluded that the method proposed is adequate for the planning of tourism in relation to market needs, as well as furnishing support for the adoption of a rational and ecologically sustainable program of speleotourism.
