摘要：Este trabalho analisa os conceitos de autoridade e autoritarismo através de narrativas autobiográficas de professoras de escolas de educação básica do município de Santa Maria RS, e das represen - tações sociais. Fez-se uso de uma pesquisa de cunho bibliográfico, utilizando-se da teoria das Representações Sociais e também da História Oral. O artigo divide-se em cinco partes. A primeira delas, aborda a História Oral como possibilidade de contar uma história do mundo contemporâneo. Na segunda, discute-se a Teoria das Representações Sociais como uma decodificação da vida cotidiana. Maffesoli (1998), na terceira parte, questiona-se o que seria melhor representar ou apresentar na construção da realidade. A quarta par - te, reflete sobre as falas docentes e a bibliografia estudada. A última parte traz as falas dos professores sobre os conceitos de autoridade e autoritarismo docente.
其他摘要：This work analyses the concepts of authority and authoritarianism through autobiographical narratives made by teachers from basic education schools in Santa Maria – RS and, through social repre - sentations. This is a bibliographical research. We made use of the Social Representations and also the Oral History. This article is di - vided into five sections. The first one approaches the Oral History as a possibility to tell the history of the contemporary world. The second one is a discussion on the Social Representations Theory as a decryption of everyday life. Maffesoli (1998) on the third section questions what would be better to represent or to present in the construction of reality. The fourth section is a reflection on the te - achers’ speeches and the studied bibliography. Finally, the last sec - tion brings up teachers speeches about the concepts of educators’ authority and authoritarianism.
