摘要：En el presente artículo analizamos el trabajo cultural que en torno a sus identidades realizan tres actores representativos de la protesta popular en 1999: los jubilados y pensionados, los estudiantes y los buhoneros. Utilizando el enfoque conceptual y metodológico de los marcos de acción colectiva, a partir de un conjunto de entrevistas realizadasin situ en diez eventos de protesta, obtenemos las principales imágenes con que estos actores se proyectan hacia el público y la autoridad para despertar simpatía y solidaridad y alcanzar sus objetivos políticos.
其他摘要：In this article we analyze three representative actors in Venezuelan popular protest: retired workers, university students and street vendors in reference to the issue of their identities. We use the collective action frame approach and support the analysis with empirical data obtained from interviews held at ten protest events that took place in Caracas in 1999. We describe the most important images that these actors construct in order to awaken sympathy and solidarity on the part of authorities and general public in order to achieve their goals.
