摘要：Existen insuficiencias teóricas para entender el panorama actual del desarrollo, no obstante la formulación de planteamientos interesantes, como las Teorías del Crecimiento Endógeno. Los problemas al respecto se manifiestan en lo que tiene que ver, por un lado, con la medición y, por otro, con las perspectivas de desarrollo de los diversos países. Los conceptos de desarrollo humano y de desarrollo sustentable o de economías emergentes están afectados por las diferencias entre las naciones. Eso también ocurre con los métodos y la estimación por la fijación de objetivos de desarrollo. En este ensayo se discute la propuesta de teorías y modelos que se intentan adecuar a las complejidades de hoy. Específicamente se exponen los elementos de la llamada Nueva Teoría del Crecimiento. Esta constituye un punto de partida importante para el análisis del carácter de economías abiertas que han adquirido varios países en desarrollo, en el marco de la ejecución de planes de ajuste y estabilización.
其他摘要：There are theoretical insufficiencies in the current understanding of the real panorama of development, even though interesting proposals have been formulted, such as the Theories of Endogenous Growth. The problems in this area are manifested in, on the one hand, that which has to do with measurement, and on the other, with the perspectives of development in different countries. The concepts of human development and of sustainable development or emerging countries are affected by the differences between these nations. This also occurs with the methods and the determination of development objectives. In this essay we discuss the proposals of theories and models which attempt to adjust to the complexities of today. Specifically the elements of the so-called New Theory of Growth are presented. This constitutes a starting place for the analysis of the character of open economies that several developing countries have acquired within the framework of adjustment and stabilization plans.
