摘要：Este artículo, destaca las transformaciones de la violencia en Colombia durante la década de los 90s. Muestra lo compleja e inmanejable que se ha vuelto, cómo ha pasado a ser hoy un fenómeno no simplemente nacional sino internacional, y cómo, a pesar de todos los obstáculos, puede ser superada.
其他摘要：This chapter assesses how the phenomenon of the violence has changed during the decade of the 1990s. It shows how complex and intractable the violence has become, how it is now an international problem, not simply a national one, and how, despite all the obstacles, it might be overcome. It pays special attention to the psychological and cultural implications of the violence.
