摘要：Este artículo presenta una fotografía de la presencia francesa en el Perú en 2005, pues un análisis diacrónico resulta imposible dada la ausencia de fuentes o de sus lagunas. Después de presentar los límites estadísticos y cartográficos del estudio, se analizará la distribución espacial de los franceses en el Perú: su implantación en el área metropolitana limeña será puesta en exergo. Finalmente, la última parte pone en concordancia el lugar de residencia de los franceses y la categoría socioprofesional a la que pertenecen: esta correlación permite aproximarse a su situación socioeconómica. El análisis se basa en algunos mapas y cuadros sintéticos que permiten visualizar informaciones presentadas frecuentemente sin soporte espacial. Además, este busca aportar algunos elementos de respuesta a las siguientes interrogantes: la comunidad francesa en el Perú, ¿es homogénea o heterogénea? ¿Los franceses se agrupan en ciertos sectores de Lima o se implantan de manera indiferenciada en la capital peruana? ¿Cuáles son las razones para la elección de su lugar de residencia? ¿Existe una relación entre su lugar de residencia y su categoría socioprofesional?
其他摘要：This article presents a snapshot of the French presence in Peru in 2005; a diachronic analysis provied to be impossible due the absence of sources or their own deficiencies. After a presentation of the statistical and cartographic limits of such a study, the spatial distribution of French people in Peru will be analyzed and their setting in the metropolitan area of Lima will be stressed. Finally, the last part of this essay establishes a concordance between the place of residence of French people, and socio-professional category to which they belong. This correlation permits an approximation of their socio-economic situation. The analysis is based on several maps and tables of synthesis which allows the visualization of some pieces of information regularly described without spatial representation. Furthermore, this study aims to offer some brief replies to the followings questions: is the French community in Peru homogeneous or heterogeneous? Do French people get together in some special areas of Lima or do they set up in the Peruvian capital in an undifferentiated way? What are the reasons of their place of residence? Is there a relationship between their place of residence and their socio professional category?
