摘要:Desde 1981 las universidades chilenas se enfrentan a la creciente necesidad de autofinanciar sus actividades debido a que el Estado ha disminuido los recursos económicos directos que proporcionaba a las universidades, particularmente a las estatales, entregando los aportes fiscales a través de fondos concursables o asignándolos de acuerdo al cumplimiento de ciertos estándares de calidad, lo que ha obligado a algunas universidades a desarrollar un modelo de apertura de sedes regionales a lo largo del país como una estrategia para autofinanciarse. El propósito del presente artículo es analizar los resultados obtenidos en las entrevistas realizadas con carácter exploratorio-descriptivo a los directores de sedes regionales de las universidades actualmente en funcionamiento en la ciudad chilena de Antofagasta, respecto de la percepción y presencia del concepto de responsabilidad social universitaria como uno de los criterios a considerar en el funcionamiento de las sedes regionales en cuanto estrategia de autofinanciamiento.
其他摘要:Since 1981 the Chilean universities face the growing need to seek self-funding for their activities beca use the State has reduced drastically the direct financial resources that were allocated to the universities, and specially to the state universities, submitting the fiscal contributions through funds that are won by means of a competition or assigning them according to the compliance of several regional standards, forcing most of the universities to develop a model characterized by the opening of regional offices throughout the country as a self-funding strategy. The purpose of this article is to analyse the results obtained during the exploratory and descriptive interviews that were carried out to the principals of the different regional seats of the currently active universities in the Chilean city of Antofagasta, with regard to the perception and the presence of the concept of social university responsibility as one of the criteria to be taken into account in operating the regional offices as a strategy of self-funding.
