摘要：Philip G. Altbach señala la necesidad de considerar con la puesta en marcha del TLC, las relaciones que deben establecerse entre los tres países implicados, no sólo comerciales, sino educativas y culturales también. En este sentido, piensa que el tratado que estableció la Comunidad Europea tiene mucho que enseñarnos. Propone entonces emprender varias acciones tendientes a desarrollar lazos culturales y educativos entre México, Canadá y Estados Unidos.
