摘要:Los estudiantes manifiestan sus formas de pensar y resolver problemas a partir del empleo de modelos que involucran distintos sistemas de representación. En este estudio, un problema de rutina se emplea como plataforma para que los estudiantes expresen, construyan y refinen sus ideas acerca de conceptos que involucran cambio o variación. El uso de la tecnología desempeña un papel importante en la presentación, identificación y exploración de conjeturas y relaciones. En particular, se observa que la utilización de distintas representaciones se transforma en un puente para conectar temas que tradicionalmente aparecen en áreas como cálculo, geometría, aritmética y álgebra.
其他摘要:An important goal in mathematics instruction is that students develop powerful conceptual systems that lead them to solve mathematical problems. We recognize that students use models that involve descriptions, explanations, and in general system of representations to externalize their ideas about mathematics and problem solving. Thus, models function as a means for students to exhibit and refine their repertoire of resources and mathematical problems solving strategies. In this study, a routine problem is used as a platform to encourage students to search for multiple ways to solve and transform the nature of the problem into a set of learning activities. In this process, the use of technology becomes an important tool to understand and connect concepts from areas that include arithmetic, algebra, geometry and calculus.
