摘要：Pretende-se relatar a experiência de acadêmicos do Curso de Biblioteconomia da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brasil, no desenvolvimento de atividades de leitura com possibilidades terapêuticas. Tais atividades, respaldadas em conteúdos teóricos da disciplina Biblioterapia, valeram-se de leitura e contação de histórias complementadas por poesias, dramatização, vídeos, música, dança e jogos. A articulação do literário com a função terapêutica da leitura promoveu a catarse, o humor, a identificação, a introjeção, a projeção e a introspecção dos agentes envolvidos, mostrando-se a biblioterapia um instrumento eficaz no combate às tensões da vida diária.

This activities, based in theoretical material of Bibliotherapy class, using the reading and telling tales, with poetry, dramatic art, videos, music, dance and games. The articulation of literary with the therapeutic reading function, promoted the catharsis, the humor, the identification, the introjection, the projection and the introspection of people involved, showing them the bibliotherapy as a efficacious instrument to combat the tensions of life.
