摘要：Las relaciones sociales han resultado ser un impor- tante objeto de análisis en Trabajo Social. Pese a que la literatura existente en esta materia confirme la re- levancia de mejorar las relaciones sociales del usua- rio del Trabajo Social, no existen propuestas para la medición de las mismas. Por ello, nuestro objetivo con este artículo es doble: por una parte, trasladar que, desde la perspectiva de E. Lévinas, la Ética es la condición de posibilidad para el establecimiento de una adecuada relación profesional entre el usuario y el trabajador social y, por otra, explicar la necesi- dad de utilizar instrumentos de medida validados si aspiramos a mejorar el vínculo con el usuario en el Trabajo Social. Como tendremos ocasión de com- probar, la sensibilidad y la vigilancia propuestas por Lévinas son dos nociones importantes que permiten analizar el establecimiento de unas relaciones profe- sionales adecuadas entre las y los profesionales del Trabajo Social y los usuarios. Seguidamente, anali- zaremos uno de los componentes más importantes de la relación profesional, la alianza terapéutica, junto con uno de los instrumentos de medición de la misma, el Working Alliance Inventory Short Versión (WAI S) y el cuestionario para la medición del estilo personal del profesional (EPT - C).
