摘要：El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar un estudio comparativo del modelo estético corporal y el nivel de satisfacción con el cuerpo en mujeres latinoamericanas (residentes en Guipúzcoa) y españolas. La muestra está compuesta por 64 mujeres (34 latinoamericanas y 30 espa-ñolas) de entre 18 y 38 años de edad. Los instrumentos de evaluación utilizados son: un Test de Siluetas (TS, basado en la Contour Drawing Rating Scale, Thompson y Gray, 1995), una adaptación de la Escala de Satisfacción Corporal (ESC, Maganto, Cruz, del Río y Roiz, 2002), el Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ, adaptado por Raich, Mora, Soler, Ávila, Clos y Zapater, 1996), y una adaptación del Body Image Ideal Questionnaire (BIIQ, Cash y Szymanski, 1995). Los resultados muestran que no se pre-sentan diferencias significativas en la elección que hacen ambos grupos de la figura ideal. Además, las mujeres latinoamericanas presentan niveles de satisfacción significativamente superiores con el aspecto físico global y con el torso inferior que las españolas. Por último, el IMC correspondiente a las mujeres latinoamericanas satisfechas es significativamente más alto que el de las españolas.
其他摘要：The aim of the present study is to know the differences in the aesthetic model and the level of body satisfaction between latinoamerican (living in Guipúzcoa) and spanish women. The sample is composed of 64 women (34 latinoamerican and 30 spanish) from 18 to 38 years old. The instruments administrated were Siluettes Test (based on the Contour Drawing Rating Scale, Thompson y Gray, 1995), a Body Satisfaction Scale (adapted from Maganto, Cruz, del Río y Roiz, 2002), the Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ, adapted from Raich, Mora, Soler, Ávila, Clos y Zapa-ter, 1996), and a adaptation from the Body Image Ideal Questionnaire (BIIQ, Cash y Szymanski, 1995). Results show that there is not differences in the ideal siluette chosen, and that the levels of body satisfaction with the global physical aspect and with the inferior torso are higher in latino-american than in spanish women. Finally, the BMI of latinoamerican women who are satisfied is lower than the spanish women.
