摘要：La época de Eysenck se puede describir como una época rica en matices y en perspectivas; sin duda, desde los años treinta a los noventa, Europa vive en un período abarrotado de acontecimientos sociales, políticos y científicos. Como todos los intelectuales que merecían ese nombre por entonces, Eysenck realiza su obra en interacción con los acontecimientos sociales y políticos del momento. Hans Eysenck es uno de los representantes más fascinantes de la transición psicológica actual, que evoluciona desde una psicología sistemática hacia una psicología práctica y sectorial. El análisis de su significado y la interpretación del sentido psicológico de sus investigaciones es uno de los proyectos más sugestivos para la comprensión del estado actual y futuro de nuestra disciplina. Eysenck concedió una gran importancia a los aspectos sociales a lo largo de toda su obra, al margen de que su perspectiva sea discutible, políticamente incorrecta o provocada por sus primeros años de educación.

As all the intellectuals that deserved that name for then, Eysenck carries out its work in interaction with the social and political events of the moment. Hans Eysenck is one of the most fascinating representatives in the current psychological transition that evolves from a systematic psychology toward a practical and sectoral psychology. The analysis of their meaning and the interpretation of the psychological sense of its investigations is one of the most suggestive projects for the understanding of the current state and future of our discipline. Eysenck granted a great importance to the social aspects along all its work, to the margin that its perspective is debatable, politically incorrect or caused by its first years of education.
