摘要：El Fondo de Reserva de la Seguridad Social se constituye en España con la finalidad de atender las necesidades del sistema en cuanto a las prestaciones contributivas. En este trabajo se estudia la evolución y situa- ción actual del Fondo de Reserva, y se analiza su papel en la sostenibilidad del sistema público de pensiones. Aunque forma parte de la solvencia del régimen, en la actualidad el Fondo de Reserva no garantiza la viabilidad futura del sistema de Seguridad Social. Debido a la crisis económica, en el año 2012 se realizan las prime- ras disposiciones del Fondo, once años antes de lo previsto según las últimas proyecciones oficiales de ingresos y gastos del sistema, realizadas en 2008. El análisis comparado con otros países europeos permite obtener una serie de recomendaciones, orientadas a convertir al Fondo de Reserva en un elemento clave para alcanzar la sostenibilidad del sistema español de pensiones.
其他摘要：The Spanish Social Security Reserve Fund is designed to meet the needs of the system with regard to contributory benefits. This study examines the evolution and current status of the Reserve Fund and dis- cusses its role in the sustainability of the public pension system. Although the Reserve Fund contributes to the solvency of the Social Security system, it no longer guarantees the future viability of the system. Due to the eco- nomic crisis, the first withdrawal from the Fund was made in 2012, eleven years earlier than expected in the most recent official projections of the system’s incomes and expenses, made in 2008. Through comparative analysis with other European countries, we have arrived at a series of recommendations to turn the Reserve Fund into a key element in the financial sustainability of the Spanish pension system
