摘要：El objetivo de este artículo es señalar las principales características y factores explicativos de la creación de cooperativas agrícolas durante las primeras décadas del siglo XX, a partir del ejemplo de una comarca vitiviní- cola catalana. El estudio de una región de tamaño reducido permite cruzar informaciones procedentes de fuen- tes muy diversas y subsanar las deficiencias (cuantitativas y cualitativas) de las estadísticas disponibles en España sobre la creación y desarrollo de cooperativas agrarias. Permite precisar y explicar mejor su cronología, los dis- tintos modelos asociativos y la incidencia en el movimiento cooperativo de la conflictividad social. Se constata el mayor dinamismo cooperativo de las áreas vitícolas, su relación con la conflictividad local y se singularizan dos modelos cooperativos, uno impulsado por propietarios acomodados y otro surgido del pequeño campesinado, poniendo de relieve la división social existente en los núcleos rurales.
其他摘要：The aim of this article is to outline the main characteristics and factors that explain the deve- lopment of agricultural cooperatives in the early twentieth century, taking the example of a Catalan winegrowing region. The study of a small region allows us to use information from many different sources to correct the defi- ciencies (quantitative and qualitative) of the available Spanish statistics on the creation and development of agri- cultural cooperatives. As a result, we can give a clearer and more accurate explanation of their chronology, the different associative models and the impact of social conflict on the cooperative movement. We show that the coo- perative movement was more dynamic in winegrowing areas and deeply rooted in local conflicts. Although agri- cultural cooperatives possessed very different features, two models can be distinguished: one backed by wealthy landowners and the other arising among peasant smallholders, underlining the social division in rural communi- ties.
