摘要：Durante las últimas décadas del siglo XX, muchos movimientos cooperativos de consumo, otrora destacados, han desaparecido sin más por razones económicas, empezando por los Países Bajos (1972) y Bélgica e incluyendo a gigantes como la Coop AG alemana en 1989/90 y más de la mitad del movimiento francés en 1985/86. El artículo realiza un análisis crítico de la evolución de las cooperativas de consumo en Europa,y a la luz de la teoría del ciclo vital de las cooperativas, pone especial énfasis en los factores que han coadyuvado a la crisis del cooperativismo de consumo ?clásico?.
其他摘要：Over the last decades of the XX century, many once outstanding consumer co-operative movements disappeared without trace, beginning with Holland (1972) and Belgium, affecting more than half the French movement in 1985/86, and even including giants such as the German Coop AG in 1989/90. The article carries out a critical analysis of the evolution of consumer co-operatives and, in the light of the co-operative life cycle theory, places special emphasis on the factors which have contributed to the crisis of the classic consumer co-operative movement in Europe
