摘要：Mucho se ha hablado en los últimos años de la enseñanza de las matemáticas a través de la modelación, pero ¿qué significa exactamente esto? En este artículo se presenta algunas posturas acerca del uso de la modelación en el aula, así como los resultados de ciertas experiencias específicas de su aplicación en la enseñanza universitaria, por lo que se da cuenta de las posibilidades y limitaciones de esta metodología de enseñanza.
其他摘要：Much attention has been devoted in the last few years to the introduction of modelling to mathematics teaching, but, what exactly is understood by modeling? In this paper we present some diffe-rent positions about the use of mathematical modeling in the classroom; we also present the results of some specific experiences where modeling was used to teach mathematics at the university level. We profit from the description of those experiences to discuss the possibilities and limitation of the use of modeling in the mathematics classroom.
